Akwaaba!
Packed with huge anticipation and more than 50 roll films, we arrived in the country of inspiration of this year’s Spring/Summer 20 collection: Ghana.
The capital Accra was the first stop of three. Right away, we were welcomed with a big smile and positive vibes, setting the mood for the days to come. After reaching the daily dose of quinine by inserting a good amount of Gin & Tonic, it was time for some rest. With fresh energy we started to explore the city and suck in the first impressions of this colourful and hectic city. From the Black Star Square over the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial to the Makola Market and finishing at the vibrant Labadi Beach. Back at the hotel, the plan was an early night for an early rise with the help of the sufficient dose of quinine. Also at the end of the first day, this country was still radiating only positive vibes!
