Andean Weave Rug
Rugs from the San Tomás community in Peru feature horse designs, which hold cultural significance in the Andean region. Horses, introduced by the Spanish during colonization, became an important part of daily life for rural communities, symbolizing strength, freedom, and endurance. This rug was weaved by Eva, a member of the community in San Tomás.
