Wounnan Vase

This vase was woven from a fiber called Werregue, which is picked from a palm tree with the same name. The very detailed and precise weaving technique forms a big part of the Wounnan community. The skill gets passed on through generations and is a way for the Wounnan people to celebrate their heritage.

All profits will be donated to Survival International, a non-profit organization that preserves and protects indigenous communities and their territory.
