SS22 – IN-HOUSE DEVELOPED FABRICS
March 7th 2022

Since we started A Kind of Guise, every season we continue to explore new fabric developments and become more and more involved in experimenting with certain materials on our own. As Colombia is this season’s core inspiration, we have directed our focus towards the impressions during our travels and developed materials accordingly.

This applies to our Jakarta Jacket, which is cut from a premium woven jacquard that has been developed together with a traditional Italian weaver exclusively for this collection. We also created a second variation in warm, earthy tones and combined that fabric with a soft goatskin suede for the Juan Jacket, a vintage-inspired bomber. The wool-silk blend offers a firm, textured yet soft feel with its pattern following this collection’s central theme, drawing inspiration from Colombian artisan objects.

One of our Flores Shirts is also cut from another in-house developed jacquard this time but in a more subtle pattern called Jacquard Eden.
