SS23 EDITORIAL: PART ONE
After having shared a first sneak peek in order to get a feel for the overall vibe, we’re now releasing the official first half of our SS23 Editorial Wadi Rum, which reveals the characters we captured, as well as the garments and what this collection has to offer.
From the coast of the Red Sea, all the way up to the roofs of Amman, be ready to be taken on a journey through breathtaking parts of Jordan. Try those sweet dates on the market, go offroading through the magical landscape of Wadi Rum, explore the desert on camel’s back, and float in the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea.
Despite adventurous surroundings, the garments don’t suffer from lack of attention. Sharp tailoring in lightweight linen, in-house developed fabric designs, hand-crocheted hats and knitwear, heavy-texture materials, and vibrant colours bring essential pieces to one’s spring and summer wardrobe.
In this small country, which is big on hospitality, we’ve been fortunate to meet the kindest characters that made this editorial a special one. As always, the collection was photographed on locals we met through spontaneous encounters during the trip, continuing our tradition of building strong, destination-centric collections that respectfully interpret and build around a country’s heritage.
