INTRO: FABRICS FROM SRI LANKA

MARCH 14th 2025

Sri Lanka’s textile traditions are built on generations of craftsmanship, from handwoven fabrics to natural dyeing techniques.

This chapter of our collection is a tribute to these skills, shaped by the textures, colors, and methods that have been passed down over time.

We had the chance to see these processes up close: the weaving, the dyeing, the careful hands behind every piece. Each fabric carries the imprint of its maker, spun and woven with a patience that speaks to the deep-rooted traditions of the island.

Natural dyes, drawn from local plants and minerals, bring out rich, earthy tones, while handloom patterns echo the landscapes: lush green tea fields, sunlit earth, and deep ocean blues. This SS25 collection carries a piece of that heritage, blending time-honored techniques with a contemporary perspective.
