JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Head of Merchandising to take full ownership of our product assortment, seasonal planning, and buying strategy across all channels. You will be responsible for shaping a commercially strong collection structure, managing stock performance, and ensuring the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities.

This role combines commercial leadership with hands-on execution. From collection planning and assortment strategy to sell-through analysis, inventory management, and channel allocation, you will be the driving force behind how AKOG translates creative collections into commercial success.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with Design, Product Development, E-Commerce, Wholesale, Retail, and Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own merchandising strategy, assortment planning, and overall product performance across all channels
  • Define and track key KPIs such as sell-through, stock levels, margin, product performance, return rate, size availability, and inventory health
  • Build seasonal collection frameworks, category plans, and product architecture in close coordination with Design and Product Development
  • Translate historical sales data, market feedback, and customer demand into actionable product and buying decisions
  • Define seasonal buy quantities and support demand forecasting across DTC, retail, and wholesale
  • Monitor product performance throughout the season and identify risks and opportunities across categories
  • Manage stock allocation across webshop, retail stores, wholesale, and other channels
  • Work closely with E-Commerce on product launches, drop timing, product availability, and digital merchandising
  • Partner with Wholesale and Retail to ensure assortment needs are reflected across channels
  • Lead markdown, replenishment, and inventory optimisation strategies together with the commercial teams
  • Translate performance data into clear actions to improve commercial outcomes
  • Continuously analyse performance across products, categories, channels, and seasons
  • Identify underperforming areas and propose actions around pricing, allocation, replenishment, or future assortment decisions
  • Create regular reporting on product performance, category development, and key merchandising KPIs
  • Lead the merchandising function and help build future planning and reporting structures
  • Work closely with Product Development on collection timing, pricing, margins, and production quantities
  • Coordinate with Brand Marketing and E-Commerce on campaign alignment, product focus, and launch priorities
  • Partner with Operations on smooth stock flows, delivery timing, returns, and inventory accuracy

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or planning, ideally within fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer goods
  • Strong commercial understanding and a proven track record of owning product performance across channels
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear commercial decisions
  • Solid experience with assortment planning, buying, demand forecasting, and inventory management
  • Confident working with KPIs such as sell-through, margin, stock levels, size curves, return rate, and channel performance
  • Highly organised, structured, and independent in their way of working
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance strategic responsibility and operational execution
  • Fast and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
  • Comfortable leading cross-functional initiatives and building processes from the ground up
  • Background in or genuine affinity for fashion, lifestyle, or design-led brands is a strong plus
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Head of E-Commerce to take full ownership of our digital channel. You will be responsible for driving online revenue, leading the strategic direction of our webshop, and ensuring flawless day-to-day operations.

This role combines commercial leadership with hands-on execution. From Shopify and performance marketing to product launches, conversion optimisation, and customer experience, you will be the driving force behind how AKOG performs online.

You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with Merchandising, Brand Marketing, and Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own e-commerce revenue, growth strategy, and overall channel performance
  • Define and track key KPIs such as traffic, conversion rate, AOV, return rate, sell-through, and campaign ROAS
  • Plan and execute drops, product launches, and seasonal campaigns in close coordination with Merchandising and Brand Marketing
  • Identify growth opportunities and translate them into actionable initiatives
  • Take full ownership of the Shopify webshop, ensuring a smooth and error-free customer journey
  • Oversee product setup and maintenance, including titles, descriptions, imagery, categorisation, and pricing
  • Ensure new products go live quickly and out-of-stock items are paused or removed across all channels immediately
  • Manage shop structure, navigation, and digital merchandising
  • Plan, execute, and optimise paid campaigns across Google and Meta
  • Manage and monitor product feeds for Google Merchant Center and Meta, ensuring campaigns run without disapprovals
  • Translate performance data into clear actions to improve commercial outcomes
  • Continuously analyse performance across products, pages, and campaigns
  • Identify underperforming areas and improve content, imagery, and structure to increase conversion
  • Drive structured A/B testing and bring learnings into the wider business
  • Lead the Webshop Manager and future CRM Manager
  • Work closely with Merchandising on assortment planning, drop timing, and channel allocation
  • Coordinate with Brand Marketing on campaign alignment and creative direction
  • Partner with Operations on smooth order flows, returns, and customer experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in e-commerce, with a track record of owning a digital channel end-to-end
  • Strong hands-on experience with Shopify and the wider e-commerce stack
  • Proven experience in performance marketing, particularly Google Ads and Meta
  • Solid understanding of product feeds and catalogue management, including Google Merchant Center and Meta
  • Confident working with data and translating insights into commercial decisions
  • Highly organised, structured, and independent in their way of working

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Retail Manager to take ownership of our Munich store. You will lead daily operations, guide the store team, and ensure that every customer interaction reflects the spirit of the brand.

This role combines team leadership, operational responsibility, and a strong sense for aesthetics and atmosphere. From visual merchandising and styling to customer experience and community events, you will shape the in-store experience and act as a key point of contact on the floor.

You will work closely with Brand, Merchandising, and Operations teams to ensure the store reflects the evolving world of AKOG.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily store operations and maintain a welcoming, inspiring atmosphere
  • Lead, motivate, and support the store team throughout daily activities and customer interactions
  • Coordinate schedules, responsibilities, and day-to-day workflows
  • Create and maintain a strong visual identity through merchandising, styling, and store presentation
  • Organise and refresh product displays, windows, and in-store decoration in line with the brand aesthetic
  • Ensure an elevated customer experience and act as the key contact on the floor
  • Support events, launches, pop-ups, and community activations within the store space
  • Monitor stock levels, coordinate replenishment, and support inventory management

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our team in Munich. In this role, you will take ownership of the production process from development handover to final delivery. You will coordinate suppliers, monitor timelines and quality, and ensure that each product is developed and produced to the required standard.

This role requires a strong understanding of textiles, product construction, and production workflows, as well as a structured and proactive way of working.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the production process from order placement to final delivery
  • Source fabrics, trims, and packaging materials
  • Place orders for fabrics, trims, and related production components
  • Create technical drawings and production worksheets
  • Plan, supervise, and follow up on production timelines and deliveries
  • Coordinate fittings and communicate product changes to suppliers
  • Monitor product quality and ensure defined standards are met
  • Stay in close contact with manufacturers throughout the production process
  • Support the preparation and handling of newly developed collections for fashion shoots
  • Coordinate the dispatch of collections
  • Travel regularly to production sites

PROFILE

  • Completed studies with a focus on textiles, fashion, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in production management
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and ERP systems
  • Business fluent in German and English; Italian is a plus
  • Independent and reliable way of working
