Our second batch of A Kind of Wine is a skin-contact orange wine crafted in collaboration with Alphart am Mühlbach, a natural wine-focused winery in the Thermenregion of Austria.

The label features the work of Martin Fengel, whose illustration depicts two playful figures enjoying each other’s company, reflecting the fresh and vibrant character of the wine.

The orange wine is a 2020 vintage Rotgipfler Maischevergoren. It offers delicious notes of tropical fruit, blackberries, fresh herbs, spice, and a salty finish. A modern play of aromas with rich minerality, characteristic of the limestone-rich terroir, it is nothing short of exceptional and one of the most exciting wines from this region.
