Our third batch of A Kind of Wine was produced in collaboration with Mendall, a vinery located in the south of Catalonia with 30-year-old vines planted at 350 meters altitude in loamy-clay soil with limestone components.

The label, created by Mirko Borsche, merges ancient Japanese samurai art, the Krampus tradition, and Catalonia's fiery Correfoc to depict masked creatures in a fierce battle, symbolizing the bold, mysterious character of the Terra Alta red wine. These creatures also serve as lucky omens, warding off evil spirits and ensuring the wine's powerful allure.

Mendall Alícia Cendra Rosa 2023 is a natural red wine that bursts with vibrant energy and youthful exuberance. On the nose, it delivers an enticing bouquet of fresh red fruits, ripe strawberries, juicy cherries, and a subtle floral undertone. The palate mirrors this lively character, offering a playful and succulent sip that captures the pure, unadulterated essence of Garnacha Tinta. The wine is light, effervescent, and delightfully straightforward, perfect for casual enjoyment.
